The villages in Kythira
The picturesque fishing village of Avlemonas, situated in the central-eastern part of the island, is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Kythira. Chora
The capital of Kythira is located at the southernmost tip of the island, consisting of traditional houses and mansions, picturesque narrow alleys, ideal for walks and shopping for traditional products. Mylopotamos
The traditional village is located in the center-west of the island and is considered one of the most beautiful in Kythira. It has springs with rich running waters and age-old plane trees. From the main square begins the famous area of Myloi, with its small lakes, waterfalls, and traditional watermills. At a distance of one (1) km from the village is the preserved settlement of Kato Chora, where there is the second largest Venetian castle on the island overlooking the Ionian Sea.
Karavas
The picturesque village is located in the north of the island, it is placed in a rich natural environment, with many running waters, plane trees, and the famous spring with the Orange of Karavas. The settlements of the village with the authentic traditional houses, are built amphitheatrically on hills, creating a uniquely wonderful authentic setting.
